To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Fred Rocha Esteves, I am writing this letter to you with hopes that you can help me in attaining information on my lost family. My Uncle Jose Rocha was married to a Therese Lelo native of Belgium Congo back in the late 1950's. Therese had six children from Jose Rocha. Letters written in French by a priest in Belgium Congo is mentioned in one of the letters to be Therese Lelo's Uncle. These letters were received in 1962, names such as Francois was one of the sons mentioned in these letters. Therese might have been from the area of Boma. Jose Rocha was believed to live in Matadi.
Jose Rocha had left his family behind during the civil war in 1961 and 1962. Soon after or during the civil war his family had written letters to Jose Rocha, however, for reasons beyond my understanding the family in Belgium Congo was ignored. It is possible that his children have given-up in the search of their lost father. These ignored children of Jose Rocha are my Cousins and I am putting an effort in finding my lost family.
