You are mixing apples and oranges. I am
telling you what I think is happening and, if left unchecked, what will happen. Partition
is already a fact of life. You are telling me what you want to see happen. I may or may
not agree with you with regard to what one wants to see happen. If you want the Congo to
remain whole, my advice is that you and many others, all those Congolese people who have
this will you have expressed, to get off their butts and hold their country together. If
they fail to do that, then the country will disintegrate. This has nothing to do with
whether I like or dislike Kabila, Kagame or Museveni. I am telling you that the country is
already cut in half, its economy is virtually non-existent, the cease-fire agreements call
for forces to hold in place, which means they continue occupying what they occupy, and
Kabila has no wherewithal to do anything about it. He is inert.
So if it is the will of the 50 million Congolese peopl eto hold their country together,
then they had better get on with it. And with regard to you, you need to think this stuff
through more coherently and refrain from attacking me because I offer an opinion on an
issue. Deal with the substance of issues, not with me. Marek |
