Dear Sir,

I am writing to you all for your help and advice in searching for a very prominent individual from Zaire, by the name of Mr. Wuly Londa, who disappeared a while ago.

As a result of interacting with this individual, I was unfortunately, involuntarily involved with developments in Congo during the period of turmoil following Mobutu's departure and the ADLF's rise to power.

During this time, an ex-Zairen cabinet minister, Mr. Wuly Londa, was my room-mate in a London Docklands apartment. Once the ADLF movement had gathered momentum, Mr. Londa, who by now had been appointed as the ADLF's chief spokesperson in the UK, and his associates were closely in touch with Kabila from my living room, planning media
strategy and lobbying policy.

I lost touch with Mr. Londa in May 1997 and am trying to track him down. I was wondering whether you could inform of avenues I could explore to do this. I do apologise for the personal nature of my request. It is just that Mr. Londa disappeared in May 1997, having partially ransacked our mutually shared property and generated debts which I was
ultimately liable for and am still repaying. Just before he disappeared, he had been in touch with the UDPS-Britain, in the process of arrangingrepresentation for himself and his colleagues in Congolese politics.

Although I verified his political history and credentials as being 100% accurate, the only
information I had on him was that he was resident in Abidjan, running a firm called GTFC, and that he has an associate in London who doubles as an NHS physician. Given his senior position in the ADLF, personal contact with Mr. E. Tshisekedi and involvement in the overthrow of Mobutu, I would assume he was now in quite a senior position in the Congolese political hiearchy.

If you can recommend any sources I could explore in order to track this individual down, I would most appreciate it.

Either way, thank you very much for taking the time to read my message.

Sincerely,

Manu Kumar
